I just bought a posted a 750 wd my book for a few dollars less and got RED the whole way down so Im sure this is no deal

Ignorance.

Your 750 was an EXTERNAL hard drive, meaning it needs a separate power supply.

This is a PORTABLE hard drive, meaning it gets power from the USB port.

Those that know the difference know this is a good deal.
