I don't troll FW too much, but this seems to be pretty much the standard price from what I've seen. Is the after market cooler on this thing really good enough to warrant buying? |

$150 is on the low side for these cards that list for $200ish. The cheapest has been only a few dollars less and it didn't have that nice cooler. 20 degree difference from one of the reviews I read. |

Glad to see some effective cooling solutions are showing up for these very hot chips. The stock cooler we've seen on all the previous 4850 deals is really poorly implemented. And based on the review of this card at Firing Squad, it's also worth mentioning that this board is an inch shorter than the reference design 4850---possibly helpful if you have a smaller case configuration. Sapphire doesn't get good reviews for its rebate handling, judging from previous Sapphire deal comments at Newegg. Just FYI. MS LiveSearch C@shBack brings the price down another $5. Given the improved cooler, ~$145 AR/ACB is a great price for this, assuming the rebate comes through. |

This card is now $139.99 after $20 Rebate. Subtract another ~5-10 for the various reward gyration you can grind this through... |
