It's a refurb with a 90 day warranty. Personally, I'd get a brand new one...these are not known for reliability. |

It will interesting to see how much lower the price on refurbs will be after Sept. 7th when the Arcade version drops in price to $199.99 and the Elite to $399.99. |

If you buy one of these go to: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/?WT.svl=nav and register it. Even though the refurb warranty is 90 days, the Red Ring of Death problem that many come down with is covered by Microsoft for 3 years. If you get the RROD after the 90 days are up just call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and have them send you a box by UPS to ship to the repair center in Texas. Box comes with packing material and don't let them talking you into just having them e-mail you a shipping label. Repair time is around 2 weeks. The other thing you can do is contact them before the 90 days are up and buy a year warranty for $30.00. Which kicks in after the 90 days are up. |
