Sadly it's not a good deal at all. The same money will buy another laptop with the same configuration plus more RAM and a more energy efficient processor. This laptop should be in the low $300s at the most (say $329 or even $299).

Remember: the end of September is the end of the quarter...and Black Friday is not too far off either. Just be patient and deals on awesome laptops between $300 and $400 will be frequent.
