WOW, I've been wanting to get this TV for over two months and all of a suden they have this rebate.

Samsung HL61A750
MSRP: 1999.99.
List: $1,639.98 (Free Shipping)
Rebate: -200.00 (Purchased between 8/31/08 to 9/27/08)
Final Price: $1439.98 (Free/Shipping)
I'm not getting charged tax to California.

I got this with matching stand for $269.99+free shipping.

I didn't find a decent deal. Last deal I saw was from Crutchfield for 1799.99 with matching stand, free shipping.

*Update* Wrong item, sorry. The item I mentioned above is $1,348 on Amazon and does not qualify for the "rebate".

Shows 1599 to me. You could go there. They were selling stuff on Amazon. So now it could be 1599 - 200. Last time Amazon delivered it was a whiteglove delivery. Whereas 6Ave said curbside. But thanks for the info. It's $40 cheaper. I already placed the order with Amazon anyway. I'll update the post

The coupon code iceui2 mentioned (AFLSAM1288) takes off $311 from $1599, making it $1288. So if the rebate works on top of that, this is an amazing deal.

It's not a rebate either... the $200 "rebate" is only available for a future purchase at mountedmemories.com.

Oh, and the one on 6Ave is not eligible for the rebate. Whoops.

DRATs... thought I was getting a steal. But $1439 is still good. 1088 was HOTTER but it's for a different tv.

I don't see anything about a rebate. I see a "Mounted Memories reward certificate". Is this for a check or some sort of stuffed animal? If it's a check then this, IMO is an excellent deal. Not cash, I'd just as soon pass.

It appears to be a gift certificate for a sports memorabilia dealer.. I guess it's better than nothing but certainly not the same as $200 Cash.

I've seen that, but you take your chances with pretigecamera.com or many of there other sites. Please read the sellers rating.
