You can buy this set at Costco for $1,999 + tax. This is a better deal than $1,948 delivered from Amazon, for a few reasons. 1. You don't need to worry about it getting damaged in shipping. I'm sure the shipment will be insured, but if you have ever had to deal with a shipping insurance claim then you know that it is something that you want to avoid this at all costs. And DLP TV's are especially sensitive to damage in shipping, so that's something to take into consideration. 2. Costco will also extend your warranty to 2-years for free. After the 1 year manufactuerer warranty expires, the Costco warranty takes over, and under the Costco warranty if the problem can't be fixed then they will refund you the full cash purchase price of the TV. This extended warranty alone is worth the extra ~$200, IMHO. 3. The one from Costco includes a stand. I don't know if the one from Amazon does or not, but it doesn't make any mention of it on the site so it's safe to assume that you don't get a stand with it. A nice stand easily costs $150-$200, so again this makes up the difference in price.

DO you have a link or a SKU for this model at Costco?
I just joined Costco last month and I've been looking for a good deal on the 61

My daughter checked into the one at Costco a week or two ago, and it was NOT the HL67a750.
Maybe by now , they are carrying the HL67A750.

I was at Costco this weekend. The $1999 Samsung DLP is not the LED version.

Check Costco again. They have a different model that is non LED.
Was just at Costco today and it's an older model.

I own this TV and love it. The only drawback would be if someone wants to do viewing from the sides. I'm always directly in front of it so that's not an issue. The HD picture is great. I've owned this TV since June and have had no problems with it.

I'm getting $2099.98 from Amazon now. Bummer.

I think I'll wait till it drops back to under 2k.
