These are real functioning decent quality items that you can actually use in your home office for the fraction of the cost of buying a dedicated electric stapler o dedicated electric pencil sharpener. I have one of each of the "real" thing and these perform just as well if not better(especially the pencil sharpener). These are not the cheapo usb devices you can get for $2 online. hope that clarifies. I wouldn't promote junk nor keep it for myself.
Yeah, I understand and like I said it seems like it's a good deal for what it is. I just don't really see the point to a USB-powered stapler to begin with. Personally, if it's on my desk, I'd probably prefer a stand-alone electric anyway versus having something that I have to plug-in to and unplug from and is taking up a USB port. If it's for travel, then one of the small non-powered ones is just fine in most cases in my experience and doesn't require a computer. Not like you're going to be some place that you need to do a lot of stapling where you wouldn't have access to a stapler anyway (and if so then you'd also need to carry a USB-powered printer and all of the paper with you too
.
I believe that it's not a cheapy, I just wonder about the why of the USB power. Somebody must agree with you that it's a good idea since they made them.
