Worked out nicely for me. Had my eye on the top of the line TEC grill with two infrared glass top burners (four burner system grill retail of $1,000). After discount it came to $429. Discount is taken off at check-out - B&M. Not sure of expiration or continued aavailability - stock was getting low yesterday in my neck of the woods.

Thought to add too that at least in my region (Midwest) they also are providing a free Blue Rhino tank refill (bring your old tank and exchange) for free with any grill purchase over $199. YMMV on that one. Check the flier. Pretty much a $20 - $25 extra on top of the savings if you are into using Blue Rhino tanks. (Downside is that it is a bit more expensive than just getting a refill in your own tank and requires you to always use Blue Rhino for exchanges (due to their specific value and pressure), but you do get a newly refurbished tank with each exchange).

I've been using Blue Rhino exchange tanks on and off for probably 10 to 20 years now. This is the first I've heard that there's something special about the tank valve or pressure. I don't think there is any difference.

In addition, if you use rebates and price matches the cost of the Blue Rhine exchange is much cheaper than getting your tank refilled. Every holiday Sears Hardware stores run a sale and rebate on Blue Rhino Exchanges. Sale price $16.99 minus a $3 mail in Blue Rhine rebate. They have a new rebate every year. If you take the Sears ad to Lowes they price match with an additional 10% discount. Not counting tax: $16.99 - $1.70 price match bonus - $3.00 rebate = $12.29 Where can you get a 20 lb propane tank filled for less that $12.29 ?

I saw some jenn-air built ins at ~699, The Charbroil Quantum infra-red 5 burner is $411, from 597. Fiesta Blue Ember Ique 650 was around 690

My problem with this is the advertising. Signs say 25% off closeout grills. The yellow clearance tags have the closeout price - but the 25% is included in the clearance price.

The Charbroil grill as an example - the $411 price is NOT 25% off. Then the price would be $447.75. The manager I spoke with said that the signs are confusing, but the yellow tag is the correct price.

So this was not taken off at the register.

Lowes, either just stick the clearance price on there and forget the 25% or make it truly like it says - an extra 25% off the closeout price.

I have had great shopping experience at Lowes but this warrants a big booooo!

My BBQ will not work with a Blue Rhino tank. I have to use AmeriGas.(at Home Depot)

I bought the Jennair 4-burner for $749 (original $999) Friday night. The store had started out with 8 that morning and I got the last one. One store closer to my house was sold out. The grill weighs 220+ pounds in the box and wasn't fitting in my Audi A6. Lowes rented me a truck for $20.50. Plus, I got 0% interest on my Lowes card and the free LP refill. I'm happy with the grill. They still had some Jennair 3 burner grills left for around $600.
