The best thing about this camera is that it does HD (720p) video in H.264 format so file sized are a lot smaller than what other digital cameras do.

As the "stills" quality I will find out soon. Just got one in San diego and will play with it tonight. Fortunately OD does not have a restocking fee for opened cameras.
