Was in FYE B&M yesterday. I saw these for the lowest price of $169.99 AR. Not a bad deal for a 360. It has no hard drive, but still plays 360 games. Not a bad deal at all.

Also, all $7.99 items are 3 for $20. Not so hot, but just an add on kinda thing

I'm assuming that the backstage pass discount doesn't apply to these.

Well, I'm assuming that the rebate amount would be $30, since the new price point for the arcade is $199. If this is correct, this could be a good time to buy another system...quieter, more power efficient, and the HDMI output would be useful!

FYI - I've called two locations here in SC (Sumter and Aiken) and neither will be selling the Arcade versions at the new price. Both reps at both locations were extremely rude and told me that their prices would remain at $249 and $349 for the arcade and pro systems respectively. I told the rep in Aiken that I wasn't even aware of those prices and he said he didn't care what I was aware of because those were their prices, then he hung up on me. I've never done biz with FYE before but I can assure you I sure as hell won't be doing any with them in the future.

So in SC, this deal is BS!

I can confirm you are wrong.

I just got back from FYE. After trying to score a $200 XBOX 360 with 20gb Halo edition at Hot Topic (said they hadn't had them in the store since Christmas), I settled for the standard 20gb Pro model from FYE for $200 after $50 rebate. They also had the 60gb Pro model for $270 after $30 rebate.

Rebates print out at the register after they try to get you to buy extra warranty, game club membership, games, and frickin magazines! BTW, their Clown Club membership doesn't apply to consoles. Even if you are a platinum member .
