For $40 more, you can get a 16gb SSD for a total of $489.

There should also be a $399 option for a 8gb SSD 512MB DDR2 0.3MP Webcam Linux Version. I can't get it to configure yet.

If you can wait until 6 a.m. Central tomorrow, Sept. 5, you'll be able to get a Mini for only $99 with the purchase of a Studio 15, XPS M1530 or XPS M1330 laptop through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 (U.S. only).

Gave you green, but the Acer Aspire One at WorstBuy blows this away on specs.

Dell dissapoints yet again.

Thanks for the heads up, now I'm waiting for prices to come down on these.

In many ways it's strangely comforting to have Dell park in the same space again. As long as Dell continues to come late and perform poorly, I know all is right with the world.

The 8.9" screen makes my eyes hurt just thinking about it. Sure, it's bigger than an 7" eepc, but that extra 1.9" isn't going to keep you from going bonkers.

Because a lot of people have been waiting months for this and it is somewhat discounted. Also, someone may have a coupon or other method of getting the price down.

I just noticed that the Inspiron Mini 9 has Intel GMA 950 graphics. Does that mean it can have more than 2GB of RAM? Also it says it comes with a 4-cell battery, isn't that better than the 3-cell?

i just bought two acer aspire one's using the coupon from fat wallet and love it. how does the Dell match up. looks like my acers are better but want others opinions

alert mods

They should price it below $250 for this spec. The acer one is much better.

Also early indications were better build quality than the Acer, but we'll have to wait till reviews are unembargoed/people have them in hand.

Yeah it looks like build quality has been a factor and so far Asus has lead the pack in that regard. But 4gb hard drives? Why?! I just may get the Asus and do the touchscreen mod but the screen so small!
