This is the time of year we bought our set last year at Lowes (NY) and saved a ton of money. FYI, they carry many of their outdoor furniture lines from year to year. Last year we bought 12 "Baja" chairs and 4 bar stools at 75% off (we left some unassembled in their boxes in case we need them down the road), but all locations were sold out of the matching table. So we waited till this year when they began stocking outdoor furniture again and were able to buy the table in June. We obviously didn't get it for 75% off, but we did wait till they got marked down 30% off plus used a "$10 off $25" coupon so we still saved some money. So if only certain pieces are available now, ask if it's a line they traditionally carry and there's a good chance you can take advantage of buying what's available now and pick up additional pieces next year.

I have only seen 20% markdowns on yellow stickers at several stores (University and S Tryon) in Charlotte, the stuff that is marked down is very picked over (mostly just cushions and a couple of umbrella type things.
