"Directions: Mix half cup of potato bakon concentrate with one cup of urine."

275 servings from 23 lbs of mass and 100% vegetarian. Is this what they feed models?

I'm tempted in case the "big one" hits Cali but this stuff just sounds terrible.

Couldn't almost anything Costco sells in bulk be used for an emergency food kit?

Its the shelf life maaannn!! THE SHELF LIFE!!!

alert mods

That is actually pretty good. 20 year shelf life in my storage room, just in case an emergency does arise. No need to wait for others (fema, etc) to help I can at least take care of me and my family for a couple of weeks. And lets be honest, if I'm without food I'm not gonna give a dang what it tastes like. Thanks OP.

"For best taste and nutritional value, use product before:
20 years of manufacturing date when stored at 60° F (16.6° C)
10 years of manufacturing date when stored at 70° F (21.1° C)"

Sounds yummy.

I have a more realistic survival kit in case anyone wants to buy one from me:
275 servings of Twinkies, Pringles, Jack & Coca-Cola, Beef Jerky, and a Fleshlight (that's no typo...I didn't mean flashlight).
Only $999, Shipping & Handling included, and I'll even throw in a 5 gallon plastic Menards bucket "for easy transport" porta-potty.

Fleshlight eh? Don't jerk off too much, that's precious protein your excreting when your starving and forced to eat fake bacon mixed with urine.

Lets see, Scout camping this weekend, 25 scouts, $75, I'm in!
Instructions on closeup. boil water, simmer 20 minutes, better hope the electricity and gas lines arent cut.

alert mods

haha! i don't know if i really want to "survive" if i'm stuck eating this stuff.. potato bakon? i think i will just stock up on spam and other potted meats.. don't they last forever?

alert mods

Uh..emergency food that requires not only water but you to boil it for 20 minutes? In pretty much every emergency scenario that is so bad you are cut off from conventional ways of getting food..you won't have easy access to electricity.

Why pitch a fire every time you want to eat?

Just buy MREs, bottled water, and you're good to go.

Here's the Mfr Product Page if you want to look up the ingredients.
