**CAUTION*** ***VEGETARIAN*** Not for those who crave meat. Otherwise, fine deal. Seems cheaper than MRE's. |

Why pitch a fire every time you want to eat?
Just buy MREs, bottled water, and you're good to go. they are selling the survivor cooking kit also....they mean business!

Cheese and rice, there are TWO POSTS on not being able to boil water when the gas and/or electricity is out! Fire Use your imagination folks! You can heat rocks and drop that into water to boil it. Don't taste good, but also: 1. Find metal container suitable for edible things. (Gas cans are maybe bad to use.) 2. Place in or next to fire you've made. (See 'combustibles' and 'ignition sources'.) Sheesh. No wonder they riot in cities, they evidently don't have a bic/match/high current electric source (car battery)/survival match/high friction heat generator and some wood/paper/charcoal/cardboard/petrochemicals... |

Starting a fire/wasting precious battery power. Many people may be in a bunker/basement/safe room, you think they really want to be starting a fire twice a day? While you're out spending the 30 minutes to start your fire and cook your "emergency" food I would have eaten my MRE and be spending the rest of the 25 minutes laughing at you. |

They should give you an extra empty bucket with this kit. After all, what goes in must come out. I'll bet Major Ed Dames owns stock in the food company. |

Gift Messaging is available. You will have an opportunity to enter a gift message during the checkout process. You also can get it gift wrapped in aluminum wrap so that the recipients of this fine gift can make hats to cover their heads with during the usage of this food source. After plowing through the crap on their web site, it sure looks to me as if they are selling this to the paranoid crowd and what goes better with paranoids than tin hats?
Finally, someone besides the oil companies making a buck off the fears of catastrophes, nice to see that for a change. |
