HP (DV291SNR) Laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor for $649. Seems like a good price since I haven't seen good laptop deals for a month now.

Why is someone giving this red?

That might be warm with the $100 instant internet sign-up discount.

If you disagree, give it green

I was hoping to find a hot deal on iPhone but nothing exciting...

Apple set the prices for their products and retailers can never discount them.

As a serious Mac Junkie, I can't tell you how frustrating it is. Everyone's toting around a new Dell or Acer and I am stuck in 2003 since I can't afford a new mac.

There's something to be said to that. They could probably garner more market share if they had a laptop in the 400-700 dollar range. This is why I think on Tuesday [the day of another big anouncement] they're going to release a netbook. There's a market for it now and people like you and I crave new Technology but its hard to shell out 1500-1700$ for a new laptop every three years. :sigh:

Blugh, no interest is dropping to 2 years on HDTV's?
