Green for you. Wall panels go up in my new theater tonight and I've been watching FW for a deal on speakers needed to complete my 7.1 setup.
Klipsch makes awesome speakers and these are no exception. Combine with a decent Onkyo receiver for around $300 and you will have a very nice HT setup. Green.

The best speaker sets I've ever owned, although it was a package with iFi.

No black? Are these stands removable? Can you wall-mount the speakers? God I really need surround speakers....seems like these speakers have a sub built-in (2-way?), or do you still need a separate subwoofer?
I've never owned surround speakers before but was under the impression the front 3 speakers should be the most powerful. From the comments so far, seems like this is a good all around set of speakers, or should could I spend my money better buying individual speakers for the same $300?

I think Harkvey is referring to a major scam that is going on in lots of cities around the country. Guys in these White Vanns pull up to people that appear they have disposable income and who are usually male...they proceed to show them nice looking boxed up speakers with a very nice manual/catalog that shows the retail for the speakers is around 2 grand. The speakers are very heavy and many people have been duped to paying as much as $1200 for them. Interestingly enough I bought a pair from a tall, fat slopppy looking dude, but I only gave him $200 when he was insisting on no less then $600. I took them home did some research and found out about this scam.
Most sites say the speakers "do work" but they aren't nearly the quality as the false magazine allows you to believe so I never hooked them up and gave them to a buddy who cares less about sound and who didn't have a speaker set-up. All in all he was happy with the 5.1 setup with sub, but the people who get duped into paying a lot more are furious and have written articles all over the web..you can check it out yourself.
Anyway, this looks like a nice deal.

I once bought a pair of 12" 3-way speakers from a white van once, when I was in college. I was able to try them out in my room first. they were pretty good for $120. I think I used them for about 13 years until I replaced them with Polk R30's a few years ago.

My post was indeed a joke. For the uninitiated: "White Van Speakers" on Wikipedia.
I am sure that there is no relationship beteween white vans and Vann's store, but I couldn't resist the joke.
