This TV was recently on sale for $1499 Shipped and has now dropped in price to $1377 Plus Shipping which in my case is a price drop of $85. A great price for a fantastic HDTV.

Unlike the LN46A650, this one has a Semi-Matte screen.

$1188 is for the LN46A550 - the old, tier lower model.

The LN46A650 has a glossy screen as well. Im my opinion I much prefer the non-glare matte screen found on the LN46A630.
