Funny... I got my card in the mail yesterday. However don't think I got the deal. I didn't get approved right away but was surprised to see it in the mail. I thought they'd decline me. Anyone else in the same boat? AzianFleeMarket said:I applied, don't think ill qualify since i already have 2 CC with chase. |

Yes, I got the credit card a couple of days ago but never the email about the camera deal. When I signed up on www.sonyrewards.com, it took me to a page where I was able to order the camera at the discounted rate and buy the equivalent missing points using any credit card. Haven't received the camera yet but received a confirmation email that it was ordered. AzianFleeMarket said:Funny... I got my card in the mail yesterday. However don't think I got the deal. TheChosenOne said:Does Sony send out an email when the DSLR is shipped, I haven't heard since order confirmation email 3 days ago. Finally got an email that the camera is shipped...no tracking number...nothing. Half a day later I get another email that my Sony Rewards card has been approved..this is after 10 days of receiving the actual card in the mail and 17 days after applying for one. Its very weird...some of you may want to read this blog about someone who was unhappy with Sony Rewards program. |

Received my camera yesterday. Still haven't called the 1-800 to confirm receipt of the Chase Sony CC. If I don't call to confirm that I received the Chase CC, will Chase automatically cancel the CC? |

I applied last thursday and I was approved instantly but I've never received an email on how to get the offer, and I checked my spam folder. Has it taken this long for anyone else to get the email? |

Well I still haven't received any email. SonyRewards claim they have no record of me having an account despite the fact that I have already received the card. Now they claim that they're looking into it and will get back to me in 3-4 days. But they also claim that if I call back they will have no record of my calls since I have no account so they won't be able to help me very much. The whole thing is frustrating. If this isn't resolved after another week I'm going to go with a Nikon or a Canon. |

Is the promotion still valid? Tried following the link but I see no mention of the discounted camera. Didn't follow the thread originally (and have since searched and read the entire thread) but don't know if it listed the promotion before - or was it only after signing up for the card. And searching didn't reveal and end-date that I could see in the thread. A search on the Sony rewards site (before and after becoming a member) only has the full points (75k) for the camera even when added to the cart. |
