I'm not sure about the specs for the Cosina lens. I was looking for something better without blowing the bank. Thank you though. Jordan |

Toddler said:Deal is dead (or at least seriously crippled) as Sony changed the promo last night to $100. Thanks for nothing, Sony, I can get $100 off list just by shopping around. The link still shows a $350 discount. I don't know what you're looking at. |

I linked the one I did since it is faster then the cheap ones. The end cost will be the same. Jordan |

can anybody post that secret link which shows the camera for $570? Let me see if my newly approved card goes through. I didn't get any email either and I accidentally deleted my emails in spam folder |

I hope I did not lead anyone down the wrong path. I thought that the faster the better on the CF card. It appears that some website recommend the same card that I have linked. I would guess it would work then. But I don't know for sure. I know in the camera details it says I & II. Maybe the details for the camera were out prior to the type III cards came out. I did learn that you can also use Sony memory Stick Pro Duo. I have an 8gb that I was going to use for my PSP. I guess it just found a new home. Now that I bought two of the CF cards today. I guess you can not have too much storage. Jordan |

To those who have received the link to buy the camera at $450, can you post a link here? I don't think the link is attached to individual account. |

Ok Guys Check your mail...Sony cards are in. Deep Breath....
Deal is not working at least for me. I have contacted the Sony Rewards CSR and response 1 was a first purchase was necessary to activate the $449 price. They reviewed the screen captures of the deal and have open an escalated trouble ticket to repair and/or address the issue for everyone. Result first purchase not needed. Response 2 was they have a Web Bug...their words really. The CSR Rep did verify the $449 price and its just even manually they could not reduce the price to the correct amount with free shipping/tax included. Time is 1:00 EST and they will call me back when a response/fix is available. I clearly stated that a group of users were involved in the issue. I will update when they call back.....they stated they would hopefully fix it and call back to let me try the purchase again. FYI.. |

3:15 pm EST Update Still no phone call from Sony CSR but at least the camera is added to the shopping cart now when I click thru and the tax shows as included in the price and shipping shows as zero. The price is showing the full amount but it is a start. |

Finally got the email a few minutes ago. Appeared in my gmail spam folder. Says it'll take 6-8 weeks to get the camera after placing the order. Man I hate waiting, reminds me of a mail-in-rebate. |
