ripped from mythikalazn over at SD and did search in hot deals and free stuff on FW didn't find it....

There is a free file sharing iPhone & iPod touch app called Air Sharing available for only two weeks (until September 22) as part of an introductory offer (regular price is $6.99). I've used it briefly and its pretty impressive. If you own an iPhone, you know that you can't really use it to store personal files, but this app enables you utilize the wifi to connect to your phone and upload files. Search for it at the Apple App Store.

Sweet! But will Apple kill it?

Can you access the files using CIFS/SMB or only Bonjour?

apple wont kill it but the app will cost 6.99 starting 9/22....

i haven't tried it on my mac at home, as i have just installed the program at work, but it seems like a pretty cool app.

If anyone had an excuse to buy a Zune, it just went away.

Apple won't kill it, it abides by the SDK.

There are also many similar apps available, this is the only free one (for now.) Thnks OP!!

How do I get the apple app store on my phone? I dont have the 2.0 firmware.

sweet stuff... now to buy an iPod touch...

1) pwn it
2) update it to 2.0 / 2.0.1 / 2.0.2

thanks for the heads up

For those on the fence getting iPhone and/or 2.0 firmware, you won't regret it

i just love my iphone!!! I've tried LG and Samsung Dare and Instinct and owned HTC mogul... THERE'S NO COMPARISON! On paper, iPhone might not be so exciting, but

once you've used it thoroughly, you won't ever want to go back.

For those of you who still aren't convinced i have pretty clean Mogul for sale...

this program just makes the iPhone one more step closer to an all-in-one phone

for those that haven't gotten it yet, you have 1 week left before having to shell out $$$ for it!
