Nice deal- thanks!

very hot

Thanks, OP. I bought a Navigon 2100 with free lifetime traffic during the summer. This is a great price for the 3 yr. map updates.

Thanks OP, Got 1. Totals comes about $24.36 which is the lowest I have seen on this. Hope it works good on my 7100.
I am not a Mac user and was trying to buy it from their sister site PCMall which has the same price but shipping is 2 dollars more. Not sure why.

It is offered at the same price @ PC Mall, but the shipping is a bit higher to CA. You may want to compare the shipping rates for your area.

Great Post, OP!

I have been looking at the Update Cards.
They were all Way Too High!

Mine was $26.12 with 2nd Day UPS.

Still a Really Great Price!

Thanks ordered it

you might want to credit op over at SD where you got it?

I really thankful for aero on SD

this is dumb for them to charge for shipping. All it is a piece of plastic with a serial number to activate the freshmap. they should just give the serial number to you once you purchase it.

This is a map download or refresh
Anyone know if these maps compatible with .... Magellan or Mio ???
Might be a nice cheap way to update those maps ???

MacMall/pcmall/eCost (same company) have on long built markup into shipping and "handling". they are a so so vendor but I ordered this early in the week and got it friday.

Don't see the point of the trolling reds on my comment above. I was the one who researched and posted it originally.

I was about to post it here as well when I saw it already posted a bit after I did at SD.

Don't "red" someone who found and confirmed the deal!

What's SD

???? !!!!

lol

Funny.

UPS ground shipping from PCMall is $11.34 and MacMall is $9.48. Of course it is buying from the same company.

thanks!

this is a sweet deal since i have 2 navigon 2100. One for my sis and one is for me. Hopefully, I can just copy the data from sd to the other device after each updates. two for one, yay

This is a different board. Credit is given for what you do here, not other places.

So posting at SD is your priority and you want props here?

Got one, thanks.

In for 1. Thanks OP!

dead ? item not found !
DAMNIT I WANT ONE

Maybe if Navigon's mid-range unit is on clearance for $159 now is not the time to buy a 3 year service contract from them?

My question is, if you have a 5100 and I have a 2100 and I copy your SD card, would I then have a 5100?

Dead ... Item is listed but when clicked on it says "cannot be found"

the problem with that is the hardware of 5100 is different from 2100. Let say you copy my sd card, you will have the software but some of the function will not be access due to differences in hardwares. But then all of this is just speculation, I will tell you if it works or not once I get my first map update.

You can copy the SD card from one 2100 to another. As far as the 5100 is concerned, if you own both a 2100 and 5100, then you can copy the map and poi files from the 5100 card to a 2100 card and you will have some of features of the 5100 on the 2100 (except for the Zagat and Traffic, which can only be activated on the 2100 through their online activation service).

Have there been any map updates since the 1.2 software update?

Does the 3 year period begin the day you activate the card, or your first map download? Would it be better to activate the card on the next map release?

I know Europe had been released in July. As for USA update it's not to be found "anywhere" so I don't think so.

"Activate online within 60 days of purchase and receive three years of map updates"

I purchased the update (thanks OP) and will diary on my calendar to wait until early November to activate.

They don't ask for a copy of your receipt when you activate so they have no idea when "60 days from purchase" is (unless you tell them).
