Radio Shack has some great deals on phones for those ready for an upgrade. Got the Blackjack II for $49.99. This same phone was 139.99 at the ATT store and 99.00 online at ATT. Radio Shack was all Instant Savings so you dont have to bother with rebates. I was looking for this phone, but there were alot of other models at great savings. So check out Radio Shack before your buy online or at ATT store. All deals do require the 2 yr agreement.

whodayday - Did you pay $49.99 for upgrade, i.e. your are an existing AT&T customer and your 2-yr agreement expired and thus you paid $49.99 plus another 2-yr agreement?

Yes I went to the ATT store first and was told the phone would be 139.00 with the new contract. Same phone $49.00 at Radio Shack. Radio Shack also had some free phones that were not free at ATT.

Did this deal at Radio Shack, on Thursday, and returned it on Friday. You HAVE TO PAY $20 extra a month for unlimited messages on top of a media package or bundle. I called AT&T and the extra charges on top of my regular bill was going to be $55 a month with the unlimited messaging that you MUST buy in order to get this phone for the $49.99. It waa cheaper to get the Blackberry at the ATT store for $56.00 out the door. I do believe it is what sales person you get though at the stores...

A ROYAL PAIN IN THE A_S to get the upgrade reversed at the Radio Shack store. I am still trying to get ahold of AT&T to make sure that the upgrade phone contract is cancelled!!!!

Just be aware if you change your mind that it will takes days in order for you to get the contract reversed, so you can buy or upgrade the same line.

You should check out Amazon, they have good deals for new customers and 2 year upgrade contract extensions. The BJ2 is going for -$50. Flash to the official WM6.1 rom and it's a much better phone.

I already had the unlimited text plan. However, the sales guy said the phone would cost 20 more if I didnt. There were no extra monthly charges.

Not to crap on this, but those in the market for a new AT&T smartphone may want to wait for AT&T to release the Fuze/HTC Touch Pro, which'll likely be in the next month or so. The Fuze is essentially the followup to the Tilt/HTC TyTn II. Obviously it won't be as cheap as the Blackjack II, but it's a high

Again, don't mean to take away from this deal, but thought some fellow AT&T subscribers would like a heads up, particularly if you're eligible for an upgrade.

Here is even a better deal: Amazon.com

Price: $0.01 (when purchased with new service plan)
Rebates: $50.00
Price After Rebates: $-49.99

I am assuming that this has a qwerty keyboard. If so, I will wait....thanks!

This deal is great if you need an upgrade. The Lets talk deal is the same. With Radio Shack you can leave the store with phone in hand no shipping no rebates.

Thanks OP, I'm in the market for a couple of phones. I'll head to RS today.

BTW, LetsTalk has a reseller rating of 2.5 for the last six months and 3.45 for life. Scam Link

My contract is up and I don't know what to do. I pay total 40 dollars a month for 450 minutes. Can any one suggest this is better or going to T-Mobile etc will do more good.
