Looks like a visa credit card number. You didn't block the rest of the personal information on the receipt. Better do it soon before it gets on the wrong hand. I would request a new credit card just to be safe.

I returned one to the Montebello, CA store about two weeks ago... didn't even take it out of the box. Hope that helps someone.
Bought it for $350 something at the time... thought a friend would want it, but didn't, so I returned it.

So did anyone have success calling their local store to check inventory? Do you have to mention a special deal, or are all B&M stores closing out this camera (if they have them in stock)?

I've called all Sears stores in the northern Chicago suburbs (Gurnee, Vernon Hills, Niles, Palatine, Kenosha) and none of them have this camera in stock.

Also checked Champaign, IL, Midland, MI and Saginaw, MI -- none in stock.

As a general rule: NEVER CALL STORE EVEN TO CHECK PRICES. You are potentially giving away the deal to the Store associate! Walk-in to the store to check if you have it in stock. Or check on-line (if available).

With gas prices locally at $4.15/gallon, there ain't no way I'm driving around to all the local Sears stores to check inventory. This item is not available to check online.
Rhaen said: No problem! Glad you were able to get one too! Just out of curiosity, how much was it and did you have he 10% coupon? -Rhaen-
Oops sorry Rhaen, I missed your post so didn't reply earlier. Here's my story and the price:
Went to the store and a SearsCSR didn't know what I was talking about. But I eventually found the Rebel XT behind the glass case. The CSR (bless his soul because he plays a major role in this drama) said that if it's behind the glass case, it's on clearance. He took it out and tried scanning the special barcode of the clearance sticker, but it wouldn't scan. Then he tried scanning the original UPC bar code and it scanned $309.97. I liked the price and was ready to use the 10% coupon.
But here's the funny part, he insisted that the $309.97 was NOT the clearance price. He called his manager, who came over, who also thought it wasn't marked down yet.
My heart skipped a beat when the manager said, "I would give you 50% off." I played cool, and said, "Okay, I'll take it."
After the manager keyed in his code on the machine, I waited for him to walk away. Then I handed my 10% off coupon to my now favorite CSR. He was about to scan it but the manager came back and grabbed it from him. Apparently, the manager was watching us. He read it for a while, considered and then said, "This should be all right," and gave it back to my CSR.
So the price was: $309.97 - $31.00 (10% off) - $139.49 (50% off) + $11.86 (tax) = $151.34 OTD
After I turned down their effort to sell me extended warranty, we attracted the attention of a 3rd CSR. When she realized what was going on, she freaked out. "Why is it so cheap?"
Still playing cool, I said, "Oh because the Rebel XSi is out and the XTs are on clearance." Meanwhile thinking, "I love FW!" and "What's taking my CSR so long to ring me out? I want to get out of here before the manager changes his mind."
The new CSR was almost ready to cry. "I've been wanting a Rebel XT for two years!" And then she stomped away.
By this time, my CSR finishes ringing me up and said, "Enjoy your new camera!"
I ran out of the store as fast as I could carrying my first DSLR. I was laughing the whole hour drive home.
Here's the link to my scanned receipt if you want to PM (hopefully it's still within your 30 days). RECEIPT
This is really YMMV with all the manager overrides. But if you don't get to PM, I hope you enjoyed the story!
