For example, I think of "stay the course" conservatism when seeing a deal for an internal 3.5" floppy disk drive for $10 AR @ B&M, while a deal for an external 20X CD/DVD burner, free AR plus FS reminds me of "change" liberalism.
Not all change is good change. Your entire family could be chopped to bits by a chainsaw-wielding madman today. That would be a change, now wouldn't it?
True, but if you want real change let's instead say, "A disgruntled arborist removed a branch from the _Smith_ family tree and reduced it to mulch." That's change. Beware of "change". USB external floppy disk drive is basically some lipstick on the pig. |

A good argument never hurt anyone and if it also has some kind of deal associated to it why not. The mods have a definate liberal bend and I've seen them leave left leaning messages while yanking those from the right. I attribute that to the belief that most mods are underpaid college age kids who have no real world experience. Once they get to the point where they're earning decent money and have a few years of life they'll be less likely to lock discussions. I have noticed that there is a definate eBay type political viewpoint allowed here. I am glad FW has been successful, but as with the bay success breeds a corporate stupidity that takes the fun away. |

Now that the election is over shouldn't things like this be considered patriotic / historical and not political: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/861865/ The deal in question was a site selling t-shirts with McCain's "that one" remark from the second debate. |
