None of the political deals are good. We need to crack down on the freedom of posting that shouldn't be in the Hot Deals Thread. |

All it takes is one rotten apple to spark an unnecessary (and probably %#@*$& filled) political "discussion" |

i'm all for letting actual hot deals stay, but since fw members cant decypher the difference between hot and cold when i comes to political deals, get rid of all of them. my preferred solution would be to get rid of the members who post the crappy political deals. |

Get 'em out of the Hot Deals. I say you might keep the political deals, it's worth a chuckle. But throw 'em into freebies (like other posters mentioned) or make a sub-section for them. When the election is over, delete it. |

Post them all in one thread with no political discussion allowed. |

1) I think if you're getting it for free, it's still a deal for the free forums, just like the religious stuff. 2) If there's a discount on the regular price, it's still a good deal, belongs in hot deals forum. People just need to understand their fanaticism either way and look themselves in the mirror and say "I'm not smarter than everyone else, everyone can have their opinions and that's the way the country should be" I'm not sure if that can happen for a presidential election however... people go nuts. i.e. free stickers, free signs = Free forums imho. i.e. $25 yard sign for 5 bucks, warm deal... not sure if it's a HOT deal, but hey, not that hot deals are often in the hot deals forum. |

Anything that is posted that is politics-related is going to get flamed from both sides, regardless of how "HOT" the deal is. It will be that way whether it stays in Hot Deals, gets moved to Off-Topic, or even if a special "Politics" forum is created. There are enough other political forums out there if people want to talk politics, I say let's keep FW out of it completely. |
