Rebate limit of one, sorta stinks. I have two teen daughters Id like to buy these for....when we "boot" em out of the house

i've bought these before. they're decent, but not great. they're not as heavy guage as some of the better pans, and thus they heat up very rapidly. you'll need to adjust the way you control the heat to the pans to make your food cook well. but for $6, can't complain. i have these and i have farberware pans, same quality.

Good deal, price-wise.

But I noticed it was of aluminum construction. Don't mean to thread crap, but just so you know, if the coating wears or scratches off, and you are exposed to aluminum layer underneath, be sure to throw it away as ingesting aluminum may be a contributing cause of alzheimers.

I once rubbed a piece of white regular print paper on aluminum surface and saw something rub on to the paper. Can't be good if you are cooking food on top of it. I'm sure you're eating or absorbing aluminum, which can't be digested out of your body.

CAUTION:
just picked up..very very cheap quality..brand name is "cook at home". coating can be removed with figure..made in chine..wonder how come US importing dirty stuffs from china. No import quality control labs in US? My request to everyone is don't waste money for this. Anyways I saved money returning there itself.

Lead leads to mental retardation, and some people have suggested that aluminum leads to Alzheimer's disease, which is, pretty much, also mental retardation.

Ummm.... Tin is tin. It is an element (Sn); it is a metal. It is non-toxic. Lead is lead. Lead is also an element (Pb) and a metal. Tin does not contain lead otherwise it would be called something else like "tin-lead alloy" or "pewter" which is an alloy of tin and lead or "bronze", which is an alloy of copper and tin. Tin comes from cassiterite - a mineral which is stannic (tin) oxide. Tin is not easily oxidized or corroded. Therefore it is often used to coat other metals to prevent corrosion.

Sorry but you don't know what you are talking about in relation to tin. Take this from a metallurgist.

I have cleaned them and cooked on them a couple times already. The non stick works very well.

Ordered one, thank OP. For the price, I'm sure the quality is good enough. If they die in 1 year, I'll just buy again.

When I returned the fry pans LNT staff asked why are you returning? I said its not a good quality and she said thats obvious..thats the reason we put them on sale...Also she said many people returned the pans on the same day of purchase..

Never received any of my previous rebates from BBB for assorted pots and pans. And it's usually for 10 bucks, so you tend to forget about them. But the address for those was somewhere in CA, this one is in MN, so this is probably more reliable.

definitely a good price, but i'm getting rid of all my non-stick cookware. i heard they find that teflon stuff in polar bears from the fish they eat... not good, not good.

i used one of those OXO brushes to clean my Calphalon non-stick pan and after a while, the non stick got all bumpy and started peeling.

if u do get this or otherwise use non-stick coated pans, DON'T USE ANY abrasive scrubbers, brushes, scouring pads, etc.. just use soft sponge and soap and you should be good.
