I got my code today also. I bought a face value $33.00 ticket that was going for $107.00. I got the $50 discount but I paid $16.95 convenience fee, $14.95 shipping, and $1.21 tax. All in all it cost $88.00. I was desperate to get the ticket for my son. I noticed on the e-mail from TicketsNow that only one discount could be applied to each order. I should have tried the shipping like ChrisSBU, but I didn't. YMMV

Unfortunately this program has been cancelled.

Thanks,

Not sure how people are getting codes if the program is cancelled...

lol, what a bunch of giant f***s... take my email off your spam list then shitheads

alert mods

What address does the email come from so I can dig it out of my dedicated spam box?

Thanx.

ticket scalping is a lucrative, and risky business. You can buy 3k software to automate buying tickets at gate time. Rent an arsenal of 100 workstations, and you have yourself a money maker.

They shut it down

alert mods

I called and they told me it was shut down

Might be good for White Sox tickets to the ALDS (assuming they make it-big game tonight!). Tickets are going for a lot around here in Chicago.

Maybe...but the price will be so jacked up

I started signing up for this, and then read the rest of the thread  Really doesn't surprise me that Ticketmaster is behind it.

stop whining. free market makes this country great.

Just got two lower-level tickets to Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City), fees, shipping and all for less than $100. Minus the fees, they were below face value to begin with, so not all deals suck. Pretty sure I didn't get the 5%, though, just the $50 off. Oh well, still worked out. Thanks!

I will be escalating this issue to the BBB (false advertising). I strongly urge those who did not get a code after signing up to do the same.

This was their reply when I advised of the BBB complaint:

"Due to fraudulent participation in this program via unauthorized use of links and websites, this program was officially terminated in early September, with the knowledge of the participating provider, per contractual obligations. You may ask your official Geico representative to contact us on your behalf."

Anybody get a code?

No. It seems like we're not the only ones, that's for sure.

Of course it does, as do most offers like this. Sometimes, however, it does not hurt to push the issue to get what you want. Notice that the person at tickets_now told me the offer was cancelled in early Sept., but people reported getting codes as late as last week. There is a false advertising issue when a program like this has been discontinued by the offeror, but they knowingly continue to accept applications/registrations under that program. Who here would have shared their personal info if the $50 discount offer was not on the table?

Very True

So a site with 300% markups canceled the promotion early? Hmmm...looks like they'll never get my business and I'm actually now rooting against them. When you do a promotion, try to have a site that doesn't tick off your new customers with 300% markups and coupon codes that never show up.
