That blows!! I would call/write to Disney and ask if the will accommodate you on Feb 28th or Mar 1st.

BTW, So you get to celebrate every 4 years or what?
So was I.
What that means is every 4 years we get 2 of them.
I normally have it on the 28th as it is still feb.

What that means is that up until you turn 12, you would be consider an infant (3 x 4), and you won't pay anything. You would pay as a child until you reach 40 (10 x 4)...

It's great for us already going to celebrate a birthday. It's stupid for them as they are just giving you a $75 GC. Noone would take advantage of a free admission. Locals have APs. out of towners would get a package or a multi day pass. Therefore, this should have just been get a $75 GC.

Now, if you were born on any major fixed holiday (7/4, 12/25, 1/1) then you 'could' benefit from the special Fastpass...

One things to consider. According to their FAQs, you can upgrade the free birthday admission ticket to another type of ticket and only have to pay the incremental cost. That, plus the fact that you can pick up your free ticket up to 7 days before your birthday, means that you could go to a park within 7 days of your birthday, pick up the free ticket, and upgrade it to a 7 day ticket for $153 ($228 7 day - $75 one day). So, in my opinion, this would be better than the $75 "gift card" since the gift card is only good on merchandise at a limited number of stores, can't be used on food, and is only good on your birthday.

Q: Can I upgrade my free birthday ticket to another ticket type?

A: Yes, the free birthday ticket may be upgraded to another ticket type on your birthday. However the celebrant is responsible for the incremental cost and the new ticket may only be used by the celebrant. In addition, the One Day/One Park Ticket good for 12 months (an option for select Guests) may not be upgraded.

Q: What if my birthday falls during our visit, but it is not on the first day. Will I be able to pick up my ticket or other options on the first day of my arrival?

A: You can visit our designated "Will Call" windows at any of the four theme parks up to seven days prior to your birthday to pick up your free birthday ticket which will only be valid on your birthday.

Holy Crap! Admission to one park is up to $75 now!?!?

yep but not only that...I have had a Disneyland "Deluxe" Annual Pass (the one above Standard but below Premium) for the past 3 years and I can NEVER ever go on my b-day since it's in July and always blocked out. I'm 34 and have never gotten to go to Disneyland on my birthday. so this should be a good deal for me!!

not completely impossible... but highly unlikely!!

my cousin and his mom (my aunt) were born on same day. but wow three would be quite rare.

You don't actually get a pass, you can just show up on your birthday??? And they let you in with proof of birth?

alert mods

never mind I figured it out..stupid me

alert mods

you do not actually have to pre-register BTW. According to the FAQs, you can show up and fill out paperwork on the spot and still qualify. This is just to "save you time" at will call

worked like a charm! tyop!

i think kgee was referring to the difference between same "day" and same "date" - quite impossible for a mother and her children to be born on the same day
