the woot guys are frigging brilliant... there hasnt been a good deal on woot in years, but through clever and witty webpages, the forum, and bags of crap, they have a cult following that will buy just about anything that gets put up

glad i didn't lose any sleep, nothing sounds SUPER exciting. i'm broke anyway, why do I ever come here? i get paid once a month, spend money on good deals from fatwallet in the first two weeks and then have to go back to living like i was in college

Agreed. Although they have some good deals now and then, some people will buy a "bag of crap" even if they (Woot) meant that literally.

These wOOT-off's used to get hundreds of posts... seems like the excitement over this event has waned a bit...More like they USED to be great deals mixed in and now they're just okay, which also explains the lack of excitement.
Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One Printer that is up right now has some really bad reviews on Amazon. The software is full of bugs, the driver has to be reinstalled constantly and printing documents is almost impossible. On the upside, if you don't hook it to your computer and just use it to print photos, the ink is fairly cheap and it gets jam-up reviews for this. Can be modified to work with a MAC.

If you've never bought from Woot! before, be warned that their shipping carrier of choice (FedEx SmartPost) is slower than snails.
Delivery is supposed to occur within 10 business days, however I've had stuff take over two weeks to be delivered. They may take up to five business days to ship your purchase after immediately charging your credit card.
