Wendy's 10 6oz frosties for $1

Forgive me is this is a repost. I did a quick search and didn't find anything. Anyway, when I went through the drive-through for lunch today, the cashier asked me to donate $1 to the Wendy's Wonderful Kids charity. He bribed me by offering a coupon book with 10 coupons each for 1 free 6oz Junior Frosty. When I got the book, I noticed it was actually a Trick or Treat gift book with a face value of $1 to begin with. Awesome deal, considering these are usually 79 cents at that restaurant.

I imagine this is a chain-wide thing, but I don't have enough time or appetite to check all the local Wendy's stores. Ask for a $1 Trick or Treat Gift Book at the register. See what they tell you. Possible YMMV, and in case it is, I got my booklet at the Easton / Morse Road Wendy's in Columbus.

The coupons in my book are good from 11/1/08 to 2/1/09.

Ripped from you know where.

Edit : Check the second post for McDonald's and BK coupons. Thanks pacmantech.

The McD's book that our local 3-location franchise uses has 12 coupons for $1: 3 burgers, 3 fries, 3 drinks, 3 cones.

BK has especially good ones for Valentine's Day as well. The cashiers look at you funny, but I'm past worrying about that.

Thanks. I will update OP.

If I remember correctly, you can only use one coupon at a time. Once I was able to convince the cashier to take a few coupons and give me the corresponding size vs. a few small cups

So what's the idea? You buy the booklet and give out the individual coupons as trick or treat items (or keep them for yourself)?

alert mods

I cant find any places in northern CA that has this. Can anyone confirm?

I've bought these coupons in the past, and they do have an age limit on them. Can't quite remember, but I think it was 12 years old.

So, if you're thinking of using them for yourself, that's pretty lame.

What's your area? Here in SoCal I've never seen any McD coupon book at all...

If it's what I got last time, it's a charity/fund raiser thing for Wendy's, and either a trick or treat thing to give out or use for you. $1 buys a book with 10 free mini frosty coupons. The frosties are small, but for $.10 they're great. A normal frosty is usually too much after a full meal, so these are perfect as snacks, etc.

You could also give out each ticket or even entire books as trick or treat items, but that seems strange. At any rate, I got one the last couple of times and I'm definitely getting one this time.

One caveat is that (last time, at least) wendy's will sell them now but you can't use them till October. Check your tickets, but normally they're only good Oct 1 - 31, so they're not a good impulse buy. But still, good deal.

Wendy's coupons are usually good November 1st through December 31st.

I remember a few post-Christmas trips to the drive-thru window to use up the remaining coupons before they expired. Nothing like a Jr Frosty when it is a frosty 10º outside.

Bought a sheet today and was told no expiration and you could use the not only for Jr's but 2 coupons for a small, 3 for a med, and 4 coupons for a large frosty...now were talkin! It might be local, not sure

Yum, free frosty's. I love free. I live in an apartment complex and most people throw their junk mail away. There were recent coupons for the FREE Jack in the Box smoothies and FREE McDonalds coffee I dug through the recycling bin and have dozens of these coupons.

It might depend on your specific McDonald's as they are franchised. My local McDonald's (I, too, live in SoCal) carries the discount books. Although I don't give them away as Halloween treats, I give them to my children, niece, nephew and younger brother.

Does anybody knows participating locations in Arizona? Thanks.

Yeah, what you said. My brain asplode.

It's defintiely a YMMV as to whether they will upgrade multiple junior frosty coupons into a larger one. A friend and I used to see how many junior frostys they would honor at once without complaining and I think we had it up to like 8 or 10. I'm sure most of the workers would much rather dish out a single large frosty than 4 junior frostys so if you ask nicely I can't see them saying no.

ewwww? What is the world do you do to YOUR newspapers before you put them in the recycling bin?
