You might want to add this is a 2.5" mobile drive in the title. Otherwise most will never look.

You also may want to consider dividing up the links with headers for "320gb" and "250gb" - that'd be nice

I was hoping the forums were wrong and the stores were right but a salesperson confirmed it.

The one ST9250421ASG from Buy.com should have G-Force protection. For myself, I'm still waiting for those with ST9320421ASG.

Drive manufacturers are abandoning 7200RPM in the 2.5" form factor hence the large number of recent of low priced 2.5 7200RPM laptop drive deals as manufacturers and distributors dump their stock. Don't wait too long or you will be SOL. Discontinued drive prices tend to soar when new production is not available.

Thanks for the tip: cnIsfg I decided to go ahead and bit because I was on the fence. This is going to be a nice boost for this machine. I currently have a 160gb 8mb cache @ 5400.

As posted above SSD for performance and 5400 for mainstream use. Plus real world performance upgrading from a 5400RPM to a 7200RPM is not as signification as many think and the extra power consumption, extra heat generated, and subsequent problems related to those two has prompted some major OEMs like HP to already pull 7200RPM laptop drives from their mainstream product notebook line as options.
