Mine does have issues with SD cards. Its doesn't vomit them out, it just won't play them unless you with your finger physically push them further into the transmitter. Once I push it into the transmitter it does not stay at the correct depth. Also the line in doesn't seem to work either. Luckily it works fine with USB drives. |

this might be a little unrelated but.. I ordered rechargeable AAA batteries from this website. they can not hold charge in my cordless phone at all. emailed cust-serv and they were good enough to ship another set totally free. same results. so I am a little wary of their merchandise quality, good marks for customer-service though. |

I get some "cell phone" noise when using pandora occasionally, but not all the time. I had to cut down the headphone plug to fit into my 1st gen iPhone. |

Anyone know if these support the SDHC style SD cards? Mine's working fine with the regular 2gb card I have in there, but I might pick up a few of the free-after-rebate 4gb SDHC cards. |

Maybe later today or tomorrow I can check it with an 8GB SDHC but I am skeptical that it supports SDHC at all without any evidence to suggest it is intended to. Furthermore I've had it lock up when an 8GB USB flash drive with a few thousand tracks on it was inserted. Maybe it was a problem with that specific USB drive and maybe it'd work better with another one, I don't know. Also I've heard other people saying that once you get beyond around 500-600 tracks or so it starts to get buggy and certain things like seeking among the songs to various track numbers starts to not work properly due to the limits of the firmware in the device not being able to handle so many tracks somehow. I seem to remember them saying that beyond a certain number of tracks past that range it just wouldn't work at all, but I don't recall the details. Maybe the newer units have better firmware or whatever, I don't know, I haven't explicitly tested the limits. But even a 2GB card can hold 500 tracks of 4MBy each, so I'd suspect you MIGHT run into technical problems with the unit if you're trying to fill up a 4GB card with 1000-2000 tracks whether the card is SD or SDHC or whatever and otherwise would work if not for the quantity of tracks. Maybe you should test 1000-2000 small tracks on your current 2GB card and see if that works well before you invest in a 4GB card of any kind. nquinn said:Anyone know if these support the SDHC style SD cards?

When will they make a model of these for the same price that also has a 3.5mm stereo OUTPUT jack too!? I hate FM transmitters, and my car does have the AUX input. |

My best buy for last year. Works like a charm. Mine is running great for 4 months with a 4GB SDHC. Will try to upgrade to 8GB and see what happens. Whenever I want to listen, I just turn on the radio and tune to preset freq. I do not even care to plug/unplug. It just reamins plugged all the time. |
