Not sure why, but whenever I have tried to sign up for their service, I get this error : "Sorry, an error occured and we could not proceed with your order. The reason for this error is due to several factors. Please, contact our technical support with the following information in hand " |

I tried several times and even different cards. Then i got smart and called. They verified the address etc and she said she reset everything and to try again and it should be fine and it sure was. I was able to open the account and used it today. The voice clarity was very good. Everything worked well after calling them once. |

I am using Trueroots for last 6 months, I agree their service has some problems particularly with VOIP phones it can have some issues, but there is nothing which can beat 3.5 c/min with BOGO offer. Except some connection issues, call quality is great, never had to call customer service. Compare of Reliance, service is almost same, I had some issues with connection on Reliance. I have never tried calling with Airtel, I signed up for Airtel when they started, but gave up because of their web site and calling issues and took refund. |

Thanks OP just now signed up and tried quality after putting in $10.00 in the account. I have VOIP at home and the quality was not bad at all. I have been using Reliance network since past couple of years. Tempting to change over to this trueroot by TATA. Also Noticed they charged an extra dollar for the Tax. That is 10% not sure whay they are doing this. They are not having any office in my state for them to charge a tax on the purchase. Looks like Reliance has set the presidential policy for charging Tax on phone service. What a bummer......... |

Using intervoip.com for around 4 cents per minute. Charge 13 dollars and give it a shot. It has some iffy feeling but I have used it for my first 13 dollars without any issue. Call quality as good as it can be. |

Sardarji, Just log in to your account and there you can add up to 5 phone numbers from where you can make calls which will not need an input of pin number. I am very satisfied with the quality and updated my account with extra $50. I also inquired about the 10% tax and send them the e-mail requesting an explanation. |

What am I doing wrong? |

Sardarji, Are you hitting save button after adding 1 for country code and then adding your home phone number? One way to verify this is next time you log in, go to account settings then configure account and then under "Registering your phone" tab you should see your phone number that you just added. Good Luck. |
