Item Discontinued! Outside of the add itself, this is the only info I can find on OM website regarding this item.
This seems like the norm with OM anymore; they wait until an item is discontinued, with only 3 units left in entire supply chain and advertise a sale. Waste of time.
Isnt that pretty much the standard though? Last few years worth of Staples/om/OD super laptop specials were almost all discontinued or about to be discontinued models and you were lucky if your local store had more than 2 of them.
They just want to pack some people into the store and hope you'll buy something else. Not sure how that works...when I'm grumpy because I came into the store to buy something they didnt stock, I'm usually not in the mood to pay more for something else.
It is not discontinued... it is actually a brand new model, and just released by Acer on Sep 19th...

It is interesting that somehow they know these people don't steal stuff, otherwise I don't want grumpy people. I used to run a Dollar store and a gas station and have seen people brazenly stealing even on camera.
