Office Depot is advertising their RS Carlin High-Back Leather Chair (Brown) for $149.99 - $70 (Instant) = $79.99.

Use coupon code 53165330 ($25 off $75 Delivery, but I did pickup) making the total $54.99 + TAX.

Also, 14950642 can be used alternatively for $15 off $50 if the first one has issues. More codes can be found online.

This deal is a little better than the ones in previous weeks on the same chair, but not nearly as good as when it was $8. You can check out SD for the same deal a while ago to see what people said about the chair. There are several mixed reviews on the durability of this chair, so it might be a gamble. It has nice lower back support, but I question the durability of the leather. I need a non-wooden chair anyways, so I picked on up. Fortunately, you can sit in their display and cancel your order on-the-spot if you don't feel it meets your standards.

RANT:
-------
Now that I've told the deal, I have a story. I ordered this online for in-store pickup. I went in and they looked up my order. The highest personnel in charge (manager gone) came to me and told me she just canceled my order. She said she could only accept coupons that were physical. I told her that was BS and how this has never happened before (ordered online with coupon for in-store pickup...which was true)..plus I wasn't going to dive back home just to get my coupon. She suggested otherwise and even said if you order online for delivery, they ask for the coupon upon delivery (physical) and that the delivery man has to return with the coupon. This has never happened to me before, and I think it is completely absurd anyways if it is their policy.

I argued a bit and finally got her to fold after making her call her manager (who didn't pick up). Has anyone else encountered this problem before???

UPDATE: I just found this article of someone else's rant.

Yes, this always happens... especially during the deal where the chair was ultimately $15.

Yep, happened last time I bought a chair. The chair wound up being $70, IIRC. They told me I needed the physical coupon. I told them to hold the chair, I'd be back the next day or two for it, with no intention of returning. I just wanted to make sure they couldn't sell it right away and make a profit. OD stinks.

This happens all the time with my local OD's- I've had them call me at home to tell me to bring the coupon on when I came to pick up my item. I just shop elsewhere most of the time.

I got this in black, seems like it is solid and comfy, rolls easy, no complaints, especially for the price. I had the issue with problems at pickup, slightly different, they said they would not honor the coupon because it was an online order, flat out. Ordered it and another for pickup at another OD on my route home from work, no problems.

The only one in stock is the brown one. It seems like you can't backorder the black one with the coupon. I might just settle on the brown one unless someone knows some info on the black chair shipment(s).

I just ordered this in BLACK Item #335669. Used $25 off coupon. I am having it delivered to my house, free shipping, only charged a $2.93 surcharge + tax.

They still have the BROWN one (344825) available in Palo Alto, CA for free delivery. Brown doesn't look bad...I'm in one right now.

I just got a Black one in Seattle (Lake Stevens, WA)...
$2.63 delevery / gas sur charge.. .notta problem...
I got the $25 off, but not the $15 as well...

...the only problem I have with these type of chairs is putting the damn thing together...
I got one a couple of years ago (similar to this one) and it took me 2 hours to build the thing... it was extra hard, and I usually like this type of building too...

For anyone in the North Delaware/Southern NJ area, I picked one (black) up at the Christiana OD, on Geoffrey Drive. No problem with the coupon - they never asked for it. Black isn't available for delivery in this area, and the OD on the Concord Pike in Wilmington, DE had demanded the physical coupon the last time I tried to buy a chair. I took a shot that they'd let it go, and it paid off.

As for assembly, it took me maybe 20 minutes once I got it unpacked. Four allen head screws to secure the base to the bottom of the chair, four more each side to attach the arm rests to the seat and the back of the chair (2-bottom, 2-back). The swivel slides into the wheel base (no fastening), and the seat slides onto the swivel. Done.

It's not a super comfortable chair, but it's better than the last $50 I bought, which is now sitting on the curb awaiting the trash truck. The leather on that one is worn away at the base, with foam showing. It was one of the generic, mid back ones everyone has.

I just picked up a brown one here in Austin. I used the coupon and chose in store pickup. They didn't ask for the coupon and couldn't be happier to help me. $59 including tax.
