Looks to be a decent PSU for 99% of computer users, those with a few HDs and a single GPU. It does have a single 6-pin PCI-E connector.

I don't know whether or not this is a better entry-level PSU than the EarthWatts 380W, but the price is definately right.

Edit: here is an EA380 for $30, if you so prefer. (DEAD)

Picked one of these up today for a spare. Nice and heavy, and with no rebates, a good price.

I think I read somewhere once where someone commented that Antec Basiq are made by Fortron. Generally, they make pretty solid power supplies too.

This is a good deal. My 700watt ocz gamexstream failed the other day and I couldn't wait for the RMA. Installed in seconds and it works perfectly. At the Madison Heights, MI location there seemed to be only a few left. The associate told me he had already sold 10 that day.

I use one in my Gaming rig, and it works fine. I bought another to build a HTPC.

I have a 500W Basiq from last year's black friday (7.99 or free after rebate, don't remember). It's been running my e6750 (now e8400) + 7900 GS with no issues for about 11 months now, assuming it's the same build. Then again, I'm not asking much of it really.

Earthwatts = Seasonic (some = Delta?).
Basiq = Foxtronn/Sparkle.

Fortron. Not Foxconn.

Newegg has the 350 watt oem version on sale for $9.99 (+ shipping). Shipping is steep but drops with quantities.

Hmm. OEM, not retail. Not so good for resale. Who uses a 350W these days anymore? Then again, these are the same price (Shipped) as the Xion 450W PSUs at Microcenter. I don't know whether I would want a 350W Antec or a 450W Xion.

Hmm, two 12V rails, at 10A and 13A each. Not sure why this PSU even bothers with two rails, I would rather have a single 23A rail. No PCI-E power connector.

Shipping is way too high. I put five in the card and they want $30 shipping, ten in cart and they want $55 shipping.
