Makes me wonder if this was a price mistake of some sort or if it just sold out already. |

Glad it finally died...was so tempted, but I am trying to make myself hold out to Blackfriday for deals. With economy the way it is, I imagine some big sales to get people shopping. |

Thanks! "you can add one via a PCI or PCI-e card." is the part of the answer I was looking for. So when I see that this drive comes with the external pc port that needs to be attached to the pc, that part needs to be connected to a PCI card, or as Zachmo stated, possibly the motherboard. So its sounds like I would need to purchase a pci card? I thought that this part would possibly connect to the existing inetrnal drive cable, or somehow to where an additonal drive would hook-up? geowrian said:JaxFL said:Can anyone give a quick explanation as to how the esata hooks up in yor pc? Does it take up a slot? If so does that prevent you from having another internal drive? Thanks.
Sorry if I sound rude or anything, but the esata connector on the external drive is attached to an esata cable. The other end of that cable attaches to an esata port on your computer. If you don't have an esata port on your computer, you can add one via a PCI or PCI-e card. If you aren't concerned about looks, you can use an internal sata port and get a sata-> esata (or vice versa) cable, and route it to go outside the computer. |

Mine got cancelled. Email read: "We recently became aware that item Cavalry 1TB Dual Interface USB 2.0 on your order contained information that was in error. Because of this, the product has been automatically cancelled from your order." |
