Why only 12.5 hours? Trying to boost sales volume for 3rd quarter? |

They would be loosing money if they made it too highThat has nothing to do with Newegg giving only 1% (now 2) CashBack to Fatwallet but more (3%) to the live program. And after all the deals from Newegg that have been posted... May be Live program has another company adding another percentage point or two... May be that company has extra cash to throw around, you know? Can't remember it's name though... |

Well, at least they left the rating open, so we can show how good this deal is... |

Amko said:I for one am sick and tired of Newegg "adjusting" prices and shipping prices going up every few weeks. For example I was trying to buy 25 usb flash drives 2 days ago, shipping ended up being $53, roughly 40% of the total. Newegg rep offered $20 off, but how do I tell my client that there is $33 shipping charge for 1 lb box. I still love to shop there but bargains are much harder to find these days. That's why you don't let your clients know your suppliers. They buy from you, not Newegg. You invoice them, not Newegg. |

That's why you don't let your clients know your suppliers. They buy from you, not Newegg. You invoice them, not Newegg. Exactly. It reminds me of people I know who complain about the shipping on eBay. They'll wine about how the $20 item they're buying for $0.25 has $10 shipping. If the item was $11 with free shipping they'd be thrilled to death, but god forbid they pay $10.25 if most of it is "s/h". If that $33 shipping charge takes you total price per thumb drive above what you're willing to pay, then don't order them. Obviously it didn't or you wouldn't have. I'm guessing you just felt you had a valid complaint to get them to lower their price. Wouldn't surprise me none if you forwarded the original invoice with the $53 charge to your client so you could make a few more bucks. |
