If america, why are we giving out mexican national team soccer balls and jerseys, shouldn't we be suppporting our team?
If there were a bunch of gringos in the parking lot at the Mexico City Home Depot, I am sure they would have a promotion with US flags on it... for whatever reason, the reality is the opposite, and we have shirts for Mexico.

I'm starting to see a bunch of gringos at the local Home Depot parking lot. The housing market downturn is more serious than it looks. I used to wait in line forever to check out stuff... now the place is deserted.
When I read the title I thought this was a joke post about the mexicans hanging out behind Home Depot to jump in trucks. But if it's legit then I'm perplexed by HD's logic here. The Mexicans aren't spending money there - the guys hiring them are. But then again I guess the contractor could get the freebie and use it as a daily MVP reward. lol

Not happy about this being Mexico, but whatever. My husband owns a plumbing contracting business so I'll be using receipts from that. Soccer ball! Yay!
We could definitely qualify for the jersey or shirt, but I don't think I'd be wearing either with much pride.
Every sign in Home Depot(even the first large one when you enter the store) is in English and Spanish already! I am slowly learning Spanish subliminally.

Yes for nearly 100 years. We have done very well against Mexico too. Imagine if our best athletes played soccer instead of baseball, football or basketball, we would dominate.
This was perfect timing. Just moved into a new house in Sept and had over $10,000 in HD receipts. Ordered so many things - will donate the balls to a local orphanage. Got 1 ball so far last week, hope the rest come through.
