I owned this for over 6 months. Worked fine. Sold my laptop and the drive with it. Bought it in Dec 07 from Newegg, cost me $169.99. This is a great deal.

it's no 7200rpm, but extra 100GB, no rebate, and external enclosure for around $12 more it looks like...

The price drops of hard drives over the last year is so very high.
