My local JCPenney store has their Jansport backpacks clearanced at 70% off. Hopefully it is chain-wide. Like all clearance, YMMV. Use any JCPeney coupons you may have to make the deal sweeter.

The links are to just to give you an idea of what they had--the price online is much higher than they were in store.

I bought some of these for my kids because the cheap made-in-china backpacks I bought for school are already starting to fall apart. If Jansports are anywhere near the quality they were when I got mine 12 years ago these are an incredible deal.

They also had some in plain black--but I was shopping for little girls so I didn't pay them much attention.

Target has a bunch of backpacks currently on clearance at 75% off. I was able to pick up a black rolling backpack for $4.48. They still had loads of them left at the store I was at today.
