Just found this, bought it, and was going to post about it, but you beat me to it.

In for one. Mio GPS does have a very quick calculation. C320 for $114? you can't beat that deal.

Question from a naive GPS user but where do you get the software to hack these? Can Garmin software be loaded onto here?

You can find hacking information and a lot more in this previous post. As for other software I have seen iGo 8 and Garmin XT working on this Mio C320. I am not sure how to get Garmin XT to work but GPSpassion.com forum may has some info. Or ask Google!

Yes, this link (from Staples deal) is rich in information for hacking the Mio C320. Please add your questions about hacking there AFTER you have read everything that's already posted there. Actually, if you really do read everything there, you shouldn't even need to ask anything

Other websites with info include GPS Passion, GPS Underground, Mio Passion, and Mio Heaven (must see, single page). The last link is perfect for you if you don't care to turn the Mio into a Pocket PC or change to TomTom, Garmin, etc., but just want to install text-to-speech (read street names aloud) and/or update maps.

Here is an easier method to add TTS to the Mio C320 (no need to delete or move any maps):

1. Download this file
2. Delete the "VOICE" folder from the F:\MioMap\MioMap directory (this is to free up some extra space)
3. Unrar the file you downloaded in step 1 to the F:\MioMap\MioMap directory
4. Thats it. All done :)

In for 1, last night. I'd actually been looking at this over the weekend at $120 (also from Circus City) but couldn't decide to pull the trigger. After reading the previous Staples thread last night, I pulled the trigger.

Thx OP.

I paid $129 at Staples months back and love it, so far I updated Mio3.3 and installed IGO 8, still working on Navigon 6.5, new release is Navigon 7 but there is no US map yet.

Anyone know how to unlock TT7 map? I got it work on C320 but it see no maps. THX

Any SDHC cards would work, but the specs says it takes Class 2, so don't waste money on higher speed cards.

Go ahead and get Class 6. You might want the speed later for a different device.

If you decide to turn the Mio C320 into a Pocket PC and you'd like wi-fi you need the card below along with instructions found in the other forums mentioned above.

WI-FI
