Looks like they also install free which is nice for some who cannot do it themselves (let's not have any discussion about how easy it is, some blades are not the easiest to snap in or out and if you are older it might be very difficult). Being able to get the B1G1F deal and have them installed is a nice deal.
I bought 2 Icons yesterday. I had to ask for the rebate form at checkout.
They do indeed install them if you ask then to do so. However, I prefer to do this myself. The wipers took longer to get out of the package than to install.
Of the wipers listed, does anyone know which are the best quality? Thanks.

Are more expensive blades (icon for example) more durable than others?
Living in So Cal, my blades get degraded over time from heat, and strong sunlight rather than actual usage. My strategy so far was to buy an inexpensive set and replace often. Any thoughts?

They also have Shell Fuel System cleaner FAR (actually you get a Shell gift card) but I do not see the rebate form online.
Green for you OP. I'll be picking up replaces for my wife's Honda this weekend.

I am in CT and with previous deal, where it was BOGO valvoline oil 4 quart jugs, I got the deal out of the door without rebate. I did not have to do anything special, they just scanned it in, and each Jug scanned at half price. So instead of rebate they half the price of the item, which is the better deal than the other 48 states . I expect this deal to be the same. Max

Max Autozone had bogo last year, and rebate on top of that. Ended up being better than FAR. I bought some one day, realized what a deal, and they were totally cleaned out when I got back the next day. I know, off topic. Sorry.

MaxIt's likely because CT has a law stating that you cannot advertise the after-rebate price. I just checked the ad for a Connecticut location and it has the same offer (with rebate). I may try to get to a store in CT before the end of the month, or maybe you or someone else could report back.

I really like the Rain-X, typically get 9 months use out of them. I have never gotten more than a few months (often 30 days) out of Trico's before they start streaking and/or chattering FWIW.

The ones that I use are Silblades. They have a 5-year warranty on their blades. Expensive at first, but the cost of not replacing them every 6 months or year makes up for the cost of them. After 3 years of use and counting in the Houston heat, they are still going strong.

Limit 1 per address at Autozone, limit 3 per address at Advance FYI.
Can you send all 3 Advance purchases/rebates on one form, or do you have to send 3 separate forms (in 3 separate envelopes)?
Even good windshield wipers fade fast You don't have to spend a lot of money to get good performance windshield wipers, but you might need to replace them every six months or so. In a group of 15 wiper models we tested, three of the top four were among the least expensive. That includes the top-rated Valeo 600 Series, the Anco 31 Series, and the Michelin RainForce.
We also found that all of the windshield wipers provided very good or excellent performance when new, but most quickly degrade after six to nine months of regular use. The RainX Latitude was the only wiper that began with very good performance and maintained that level through six months. All others dropped in performance after six months.
Depending on the model, that deterioration showed up on the windshield as streaking (leaving lines of water behind), smearing of the water (instead of clearing it), or missed areas of wiping.
We tested the windshield wipers on 185 staffers’ cars. About half came to us with wipers that needed replacing, showing that drivers often don’t notice the slow degradation and leave wipers on longer than they should.
The tested windshield wipers included six beam-blade models, a relatively new design. Unlike conventional wipers, beam blades have no external frames. As a result, they are promoted as providing more uniform pressure on today’s curved windshields and therefore better wiping performance. Beam blades usually cost more than conventional wipers, but overall we didn’t see a notable advantage in regular use.
We also evaluated the wipers on ease of installation and removal. All of the cars in our test had a common hook-type mount, in which the old wiper is simply pulled off of the metal wiper arm and the new one is snapped into place. In our test, only the Michelin Optimum, Trico Exact Fit, and Trico Teflon Blade proved somewhat difficult to remove, sometimes requiring tools.
Bottom line All recommended models deliver good performance. But we advise you replace your wipers every six to twelve months. Check the owner’s manual for the correct size and installation method.

ORDER OF RATING VALEO 600 SERIES RAINX LATITTUDE ANCO 31 MICHELIN RAINFORCE ANCO CONTOUR VALEO 900 PIAA SUPER SILICONE BOSH ICON RAINX WEATHERBEATER
The CR reviews were of 15 wipers; highest score 72, lowest score 47. Compared with what's on the rebate:
Bosch Icon (8 of 15, 60) Bosch MicroEdge (not reviewed) Trico Neoform (not reviewed) Trico Teflon (14 of 15; 52) Trico Exact Fit (10 of 15; 59) Trico Winter (not reviewed) KleenView (not reviewed) RainX Weatherbeater (9 of 15; 60)
Of the ones available for rebate, given that the selection rates average at best, I'm wondering if it's worth taking advantage of the 2for1 rebate, on just buying one of the two top rated wipers (the Valeo is rated excellent new, average after 6 months; the RainX Latitude very good new, very good after 6 months).
I'm looking at wipers for a 90 Accord that gets very little driving. I think I'd prefer the Latitude ones, since I'd rather sacrifice maximum wiping performance in lieu of knowing I could go 12+ months not having to replace them.

As noted above, Autozone is doing a BOGO rebate right now as well, but purchase ends today 10/22. You can send in rebate form up to 30 days from date of purchase, though. RainX Latitude is on the form, as are the Icon's. Form link is below:

Thanks for posting this. I live in sunny (except this weekend) Northern California. I bought a pair of the Anco 31s from WalMart for about $4.50 per blade. They are the second-cheapest wiper blade in that WalMart store. I used them for the first time this weekend and they were great. Once you learn how to install new wiper blades, the thought of changing them every 6-12 months is no longer intimidating.

did you find any refills at WalMart or just the baldes. I am looking for some refills just don't want to replace the blades.

Same question here. I'm looking at the Rain-X Latitude blades (BOGO this week at Pep Boys). Once I buy them though, are they options to just get refills in the future? I know for a lot of people it's easier to replace them entire assembly than to deal with removing and inserting a refill. However, it has to be a lot cheaper. Do I need to pay for the entire assembly every time (6-12 months) I need to replace the blades?
Even though just the blades are significantly cheaper list than the entire assembly, the assembly with deals and rebates usually comes out much cheaper than the inserts, which hardly (don't) go on sale

We'll have to see. It was $21 for my 24" blade, $19 for the 19" one. So, $21 + ~$3 tax, about $24 for both after rebate. How much do just the refills typically sell for? I'd hope less than $12 each.
