I've tried a couple different one like this, but not this one, and they never work well enough with olive oil to make them worth while. Pump a dozen times, sputter/spray for a second, pump a dozen more, sputter/spray a little more, etc, etc...

I've used this before, and it works great!

After Alton Brown recommendation I use those cheap plastic spray bottles from right aid for 1.50.

I have this, works pretty good. You can coat something like a chicken breast on a single press. It takes about 4 pumps to charge up the pressure again.

Wow, there are some great reviews on Amazon. I want one! I've been using Pam, but this is much more practical

Use the empty bottles from spray butter substitute like I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER or spray salad dressings....they work great better then these MISTO sprayers that don't last very long IMHO.

as I noted in op - great for use with vinegar on your salads / balsamic or rice (have both!) Good luck!
