I just came back from Costco on Country Club in Gilbert, Arizona and I saw this LCD monitor. I think this is a good deal for a 28" monitor. The picture is shown very clear on the demo one in store.

I had a HannsG 20" LCD before from OfficeMax deal. Its color sucks, like washed, no matter how you adjust your LCD settings or graphic card settings.

How is it now?

Apparently no remote to change the inputs or sound volume

I have this LCD. The Colors are not washed at all -- extremely saturated if anything, however the image is more "contrasty" than I like. As in the darker tones are very dark. I've tried to figure out adjusting the brightness/contrast settings to get it to look more proper. I think I may also need to do some adjustment in the Nvidia Control panel. But otherwise the LCD overall looks incredible, is pixel perfectly beautiful at 1920x1200 DVI->HDMI (which they include!) on my 8600GT. I would highly recommend this panel for the average user (like me).

I have this LCD also. Though I have one dead pixel, I think it was well worth the money.

I have a 21.6" HannsG hooked up to my Xbox360. It looks great to me. It did have 1 dead pixel up top but I was able to thump the screen around it and it went away. Anyway, this seems like a good price for a 28" WS. I'll have to check it out. Thanks OP

Ahhh the uneducated...HannsG does NOT make LCD panels. Samsung, Philips, auOptics, and LG the major LCD panel Mfrs. HannsG just uses them in its outer casing and then sells.

The reviews on this 28" LCD are not good. I own one of their 37" TV's and like it, but this particular monitor has incredibly washed out colors. Reviewed in the most recent issue of Maximum PC and they did not rate it high at all.

Have you seen it in person? I wanted it when it was $599 and went to check it out. Colors looked fine to me (after adjusting it a bit from the std display colors) at Costco. Not the best in the world, but not really washed out either. For $399 you can't expect the best display, but its well worth the money. At $599 I held off, but now I may be getting it.

can u mount this on the wall easily??

also, what would the costco warranty be on it?....the "return at any time" one?...or is it the same limited warranty they have for TVs now?

Thanx!

Comes out to about $20 cheaper, shipped than Newegg assuming 8.25% sales tax. Last night it was $450 shipped on Newegg (price jumped overnight). I just bought one of these.

Thanks OP, this is very tempting. But now I am trying to buy on fleaby with live CB for about $385 shipped (that guy has 71 up right now). Costco is almost $440 for me in TN with tax and if I don't find it in store it will be about $455 with shipping.
