Anyone know does clouding issue been addressed in this model? thx in advance
This is a really nice TV, friend of mine bought used for 1500 a year or so ago. Excellent picture quality
wonder how much these will cost on Black Friday or 3 weeks before Christmas
Has anybody pulled off the Sears technique yet?
My parents have a Boscov's next to them, I was thinking of driving home to visit and get the TV, but they have 8% sales tax. But using the Sears price match would make it worthwhile.
I also called Boscov's. The guy in the TV department said he had sold 6 already this morning, I could pick it up locally (i.e. not forced to have it delivered), but I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the weekend (I assume they are out of them in the store, but are getting more?).
He also said if I come in, he can do a little bit better on the price!
I'm tempted to do the Sears deal, but Sears said you have to pay full price (-10% for Sears card) and they refund you the price match difference after they verify the sale.
So the 10% would come off the 1899 from Sears and just decrease the price match amount, it wouldn't be 10% off the 1459.
But rather $1899 - 190 = 1709 paid and then 231 (210 + 21) PM = $1478

Take is a copy of the Boscov ad and they will "verify" the sale at thee point of sale and give you the discount. That is how I have done all of my Sears PMs in the past.

You believe that BB, Sears and CC will discount their price $700 (almost 40%) in 7 weeks as a loss leader? I recall the door busters always being the Olevias, Systac, etc. It would be am amazing deal if it happens.

Has anyone checked the market today? Dow down over 600 points. The economy is terrible and this will only benefit us. Retailers will have to find ways to move their products. They will be slashing prices, just be patient.

Almost guaranteeing something on the internet doesn't go too far :-P
I went to Sears (YMMV) today with the printout of the $1499 deal through Boscov's, and received the TV for 1499 - 40 = 1459 + tax. Not too shabby... Thanks OP.
