I was at Kohl's today and picked up a rebate coupon for $25 gas card rebate when you purchase $60 worth of Gold Toe socks [$10 rebate on $35 purchase]. Offer expires 10/21/08 and is good at participating retailers - so not limited to Kohl's but YMMV on participating retailers.

Kohls is also having their discount sale for Kohl card members. I believe that most cards that were mailed were for 30% discount. So combine it with that you can get $86 worth of these socks for $35. [$86 discounted by 30% = $60 - $25 gas card = net $35].

I didn't buy want to purchase $86 worth of socks - but just posting in case somebody else is interested.

Note: Rebate form does not have a phone number and does not say if it is good for ordering from Kohls by mail.

Are these socks supposed to be any good?

The best IMO....

The only brand of socks I've ever worn that
haven't developed holes and worn out within
a couple of years. Comfy too.......

Just yesterday I told my wife I wanted to get a bunch of the same brand socks so there would be no more sorting.
Just grab two and go.

I love gold toe socks, but for a basket full, I decided to do the Costco Champion socks, they are cheaper and hold up well. I even run in them sometimes. That is for crew socks, dress socks are gold toe.

These regularly go on sale at Kohl's for 30% off (or similar) before applying your Kohl's discount, so it might be prudent to wait for the sale in the coming week(s) within the rebate timeframe.

i used to have a sock drawer full of random dress socks. i've completely switched over to gold toe for my dress socks. gold toe has awesome elastic to stay up.

this deal can help me replace all my athletic socks too..... thx op!

Since the 30% coupon expires tomorrow, you might be able to purchase now and then hold off for a better deal. If no better deal, use the receipt from the current purchase for the rebates. If better deal, return these ones!

A lot of effort for the socks and the rebate for me. Thanks OP. Gold Toe stuff is great and they last forever, making stockpiling them kind of a bad idea for me.

I've done the same recently. Was getting quite old since I had several pairs of 4 different kinds of socks throughout my drawer. One Christmas I got about 50 pairs of the exact same kind so I don't even have to bunch them anymore, they lay much nicer unbunched anyways, sitting in a line all together laying flat upright.
