good price but please put the price in the title, OP
$20 for a cable that's $1 at monoprice. This post takes the award for coldest deal of 2008.

It's sickening me the way I've seen New Members being treated the past couple of days. New people don't know. Calm down.

Nominee for most impolite post award.

And a link to the $1 comparable cable?
The one I see is $13.84 + $3.16 ship
Bottom line if you have time to be bash a post, you have time to make put up the alternate link as well.

Umm, do you think this is a new member or a spammer that is just spamming his site? How many newbies try to make their first post a deal? I would think a newbie's first post is typically a response to a hot deal.

I disagree, but have no stats to say for sure.
I would expect people to lurk reading deals for months or even years. The catalyst to join and post would be their desire to share a deal they found rather than the desire to say something about another deal.
Once they join it is no longer a barrier of entry to reply and they may reply a lot before posting another deal, but I think the very first post would be a deal...
Don't most desktops include ethernet ports these days? Why use a slow USB cable.
I have never posted a hot deal because you guys find it first most time, or I have never found a deal worth reporting. But the day I do, please don't call me a spammer! lol
i'm a senior... but i'm totally confuse of this deal?
moving files from Vista to XP ? what's that mean?
is that mean moving a file between 2 desktop?
How is this better than the $1 cable at Dollar Tree?

i think the standard dollar store USB cables are rectangular on 1 end (the one that plugs into a computer), and squarish on the other end (the one that plugs into a printer). top half of this image
the one posted by the Op and by Nukem are rectangular on both sides so that they can hook up to 2 computers. probably have some cross-over stuff going on too. like this image
having said that, op's deal isn't great. just a google search for "usb cables" brings up usbcable.com, which sells something similar for $10.99

wait a minute...how do we know this new member didn't sign on to plug his website?
it means that if you bought a new laptop with Vista and wants to move all your old files from your old XP PC to the new machine, this cable (and software) will move the files from the old computer to the new computer. and put everything in its right places. for example, files in My Docs on XP will be moved to files in My docs on the Vista machine, etc. etc. Favorites in th eold machine will be moved to the Favorites folder in the new machine (for your browser). Hope this helps.

I stand corrected. I love dollar store cables. i remember years ago when SVideo cables used to cost $15 - $20 @ RadioShack, the dollar store near me carried them. i think they're still in use somewhere in my house.
