Just walked by the Diesel store at Union Square in New York and saw a sign advertising their "dirty thirty" jeans for $50 on a one day sale on Friday, 10/10/08. It claims to be a worldwide sale celebrating their 30 year anniversary. With the price of jeans nowadays, this may be worth checking out. This sale is both B&M and online. $50 is expensive, H&M, Express, Gap, and even Old Navy are better in all aspects. I have a pair of Diesel's that can't hold a candle to my Express's and Gaps.

nah, $50 for their special "thirty dirty" jeans only. The rest are still regular price. People should be able to order for those $50 jean onlie too.
Diesel Jeans have better fabric, and have a legendary fit. Will go to the stores to check out the quality of these "$50" jeans. If same quality as the rest of their jeans, this is an awesome buy.
Quality isn't excellent actually. It's mediocre at best, a bit tight in the crotch area too.

Might be worth a look... of course being that the style is unique, everyone will know you're wearing the cheapest Diesel jeans ever produced.
I think Diesel jeans have thinner fabric, at least when compared to Energie.
That said, $50 is a good price for the style.
But their web site says it's only for a particular style:

You should all buy Wranglers. Did you see Brett Favre wearing them in the commercial. Those guys on defense couldn't even get near him. Those jeans are crazy!
Anyone who spends $50 on a pair of jeans needs to be banned from this site!
Lee and Levi's cost much less.
