I could only recommend these for kids with small displacement motorcycles ( < 50cc ) or BMX use. The don't seem like they could stand up to any type of severe punishment, especially anything at high speeds (from a larger bike). You often get what you pay for when it comes to protection.
Some of the other protective gear ( Chest protector, knee guards ) are at a decant price though. The gloves look like they would be of poor quality though as material seems to have few seems, which would take away from the flexibility and "feel". ( just my $0.02 from years of racing motocross.

I agree. Besides, you can usually find name brand helmets on closeout for about this price. I once got an HJC for $10
